Faces guitarist Ron Wood announced Friday that singer Rod Stewart will miss band's reunionat Saturday's Faces/Small Faces Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction due to a bad case of the flu.

Founding Faces guitarist Ronnie Wood and drummer Kenney Jones will be on hand Wednesday in New York City for an event celebrating the U.S. retail debut of the deluxe coffee-table book Faces: 1969-75 . Last week's announcement that The Faces and their predecessor, The Small Faces , will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April has raised speculation about a reunion tour of the group's surviving members and Rod Stewart .
