Folk scene favorites Richard Thompson and Judy Collins will join modern-day string band Carolina Chocolate Drops and funk master Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue in the 2013 lineup at Prescott Park Arts Festival in Portsmouth.

In addition to showcasing returning favorites like Richard Thompson and Carolina Chocolate Drops, as well emerging names like Frank Fairfield and Spirit Family Reunion, the 52nd annual Philadelphia Folk Festival is taking a community-oriented approach to programming this year.

Austin's most chill music event, the Old Settlers Music Festival , rocked the Salt Lick Pavilion in Driftwood this past weekend.

The 26th edition of Americana themed, Old Settler's Music Festival wound up yesterday.
