May 23, 2012: Alesha Dixon lit up Portsmouth on Monday when she switched on the lights at Spinnaker Tower.

A few years back, pop singer Alesha Dixon presented a documentary on BBC3 called 'Who's Your Daddy?' Ms Dixon, raised by a single mother, spoke of the void in her life caused by not knowing her father.

His skills in the 'cyr wheel' - a giant hoop - won the hearts of the nation, who voted him in the top three of Thursday night's live semi-finals. Billy, who grew up in Batley, won 11 per cent of the night's vote, putting him in third place out of nine acts.

But for Alesha Dixon one companionship that she has had enough of is that of fellow judges' Simon Cowell and David Walliams.
