Ford, General Motors and Chrysler have made strides in new vehicle quality over the last year, but they still lag behind their foreign competitors, according to a closely watched study released Monday by J.D. Power and Associates.

king according to who?? their sleds aren't any better than anyone elses, this is all hype and has been for years

I live outside of town the good news is my house is cheep. But my cars have to work hard. This survey covers only one year. I drive rount trip 130 miles 5 days a week. I have had alot of cars over the past 20+ years but ford has been the best I usuall keep them until they reach 200K. The worst problem I had Was a dead battery and a broken belt. I guess I shoul have done better maintenance. I change my own oil, shocks plugs ETC.I have never followed a mantenance schedule.Ford make a great car.
