If he is that strapped, he could sell the car and make money off of it. I, for one, would be thrilled with a brand new vehicle. No monthly payments would make the one time tax more affordable. Do you know this guy? Do you know that this free vehicle is a real drain on him? So what if he has to sell his old vehicle, he has a brand spanking new one. I don't know of too many people who would consider this a problem.
