Ford plots different Escape route
With a couple different iterations joining its line-up of crossover wagons for 2013, Ford has decided to take a slightly different approach for its Escape strategy.

In a memo sent in March to Mazda employees at the company's U.S. headquarters in California, CEO of Mazda North America Operations Jim O'Sullivan told associates that the company was in the midst of an "extremely challenging business environment," and that the company would be offering buyouts to employees ahead of the planned restructuring.
