While Ford's quality exceeds the quality of the imports, so does GM. Consumer Reports is out of step with professional consulants like Auto Pacific, J. D. Powers and others who put GM and Ford equal or better in quality to any of the imports.

The word quality to most people is just a word, they wouldn't know it if it bit them in the butt! these groups that rates the quality of car makers, rates them based on how much money they are paid, to make one look good over the other!
