Personally I think the UAW has made a grave mistake with Ford. Ford can easily move production elsewhere, shutter plants here, give new models and technology to Mexico or Canada or continue to import certain models. I have a feeling that it is going to be "get even" time in the very near future.

Why? they already gave them a modified contract in April, they just made a billion last quarter in this economy, thank God they(workers) had some sense and turned it down.

They probably would have done it eventually anyway. Just like GM and Chrysler, with or without bankruptcy. That's where it's all headed. |

If the International wouldn't have put a NO Strike deal in they would have voted for the contract.
