I dont think they want it to have the bad rep that the Cobalt has.

Even though it looks like another cavalier \ Cobalt replacement.

So, it would be interesting to compare the quality of the vehicles produced in Europe and Asia versus the ones that will be built in Lordstown. This should help GM narrow down whether some of their problems are PRODUCT or PRODUCTION related. It is a great looking little car, inside and out. I hope, for GM's sake, it does well.

Don't know where you got that link, but click on the one at the top of the forum. It has a pic of a car that looks NOTHING like the butt-ugly Aveo. I would have NEVER described tit the way I did in my post if it was just a rebadged Aveo. Check it out.

I did see some other pictures and it kinda looks like a 4 door Cobalt or Malibu.

Is this car a Hybred?

Don't think so. Said it was a 4 cyl turbo, but didn't read too closely.

This is all speculation but from what I hear from people working on the wiring in assembly, they will be able to produce up to 7 different cars in that plant off the Cruze platform. Earlier this year Popular Mechanics did a test drive, of a Cruze with the Volt's drivetrain and it was very promising. Also before the Cruze was announced, the Volt was slated for production at the Lordstown complex.
All that said, there is a decent chance that it will have a hybrid option.

Chance it will be out of date before it is ever launched. On the other hand, the old GM would have let the customer do the road testing after purchase.

Also the OLD GM took the car away from the people and destroyed them.

What was GM thinking?
They had one of the first elec cars and decided to drop the build.

I see the same happing here with the Volt if it ever comes out.

BTW people blame the Goverment for stopping that elec car built back I believe in the 90s.(Because of oil hits)

Wonder if thats true or was it GM.
Which now is controled by the government anyways.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Taurus

The current planetary influences tend to make everyone groan a bit. Life is not perfect and may be less pleasant than usual, but what can you do? Get real for one thing! That's the way it is and once you accept this, everything becomes much easier to handle. Be solid and dutiful - qualities for which the Bull is renowned - and you'll come out the other side with your halo polished. Focus on some undeveloped potential in your life and take the first steps towards realising it.
