5 Reasons Why Ita s Wrong To Divorce Ram From Dodge

The ram trucks and jeeps minus compass are the bread and butter of Chrysler. When fiat takes over Chrysler and dumps everything but these two brands people will then relize why the ram division was formed.

It's not about what is good for Chrysler, or Dodge anymore for that matter, it's about what is good for Fiat. If we do not pull out of this recession and do not qualify for anymore govt. loans Fiat has successfully split the most profitable selling vehicle from a brand by creating another brand from within that they will be able to keep for themselves, cherry pick in a chapter seven liquidation, or sell of individually.

If Chrysler is to survive the unforgiveable damage the "Nazi's", and Cerberus(Nardelli),did to the company, these changes are necessary. We can't blame Fiat for any of this. I am not an Obama fan, but his administration has given the company a second chance in this century. If this doesn't work, they are history! No more government money, no more public support. Plymouth was dispatched by the Nazi's and for that matter I blame them for ALL of Chrysler's current problems. Cerberus is just a bunch of GREEDY LOWLIFE'S that had no intention of keeping the company going. All they saw was dollar signs in dismantling the company for the cash. I want Chrysler to succeed and I will support them regardless of their current Minority owner who is doing their best to move Chrysler forward and prevent any further job losses'. Like it or not, most all Companies are Global and it is only going to get more intertwined with other foreign entities. This means I have to stop bashing Toyota even though I can't understand why anybody wants to buy their crap? The Prius makes the current Sebring look downright Gorgeous. How many times have you heard one of the Motor Magazines complain about the styling of the Prius? Paid-off Beyotches'!

Agree with most of your points except the Toyota stuff. Despite the fact they're having quality issues lately, I believe most people will buy what they like or what they need. The fact that lots more people are buying Prius' than are buying Sebrings must mean something, no?

Not one single part of this article do I agree with. I own Dodge trucks, and will always own Dodge trucks. So what if it is called "RAM". I really don't see the merit of branching off the truck side, but, what do I know? As long as Chrysler is producing a truck, I will buy it.

And, I am very proud of my Dodge cars, just like my trucks.
