Wow. Not good. Those are expensive repairs. Sounds to me as if toyota has grown too large, too fast. I am glad I went with the civic hybrid.

They grew entirely too fast and now the customer has to pay for the error of their ways.

Yeah, the liberal media doesn't like to print
bad news about items dear to their heart. But
thats interesting though. 32 burned up toyota
prius is a major problem for toyota.

Personally I think the media is absolutely awful and at some point they should answer for their disgusting behavior.

I hear you - but on the other hand.../

I’m talking more about the media as a whole. Lets take a look at an example…”Unexpected jump in unemployment.”

Umm---Unexpected?
Where do they come up with this stuff?
That’s just silly.

I agree the media tends to drop the ball from time to time, but then again, have you not included a little 'poetic licence' in some of your contributions to these discussions?
Don't we all?
Come on now, be honest.

I will drive cars based upon who gets the most mpg. If GM, Ford and Chrysler improve the fuel efficiency of its small cars, I will consider one, but not before, and they refuse to put diesels into their trucks and small cars, and I prefer diesels.

What a stupid comment of yours, really. Are you telling me that I should buy the a garbage domestic car so I do not become a traitor?

Maybe what you mean is this: Real Companies make reliable cars- Domestics are not Real Companies because domestics suck-but still buy them.

Maybe what you mean is this: Real and True Americans drive American cars with Chinese components and assembled in Mexico.

Maybe what you mean is this: Real and True Americans drive American cars for 5 years then junk them.

I can't help but feel sorry for you, you don't know what a real car is.

What Vance was saying was that true proud Americans buy cars from American Brands... not from brands that have done nothing but immatate them through their entire existance.

The usual reason that people act so bitter toward American car companies is because of the fact they probably made the wrong choice in purchasing a foreign car and they are unable to do anything but continue to deny the fact that American cars really are superior to immatations.

Do yourself a favor and accept that American cars are superior, and then maybe, just maybe, will you be on the path to having any value for being an American.

Ceaseing to defend characterless asian immatations of cars would also be a good start.

Are you serious?

Toyota and Honda vehicles both contain Chinese components, and both have operations in Mexico.
