It should be named the el camino. But it needs better fuel economy than 17/25. With a V6, it should be pushing 30 mph highway. Also needs a 6 speed transmission. Also needs an extended cab and extend the bed another foot with the extended cab.

This El Camino is a joke. Who needs it? I am all for domestics, but give me a break, why waste your time with this when you need good mainstream cars? Update or replace the TrailBlazer for heaven's sake, its been 8 years now.

God knows GM needs some good cars, but the el camino could be a good seller. And GM needs cars that sell. If, and say IF it gets good mileage, and 17/25 doesn't cut it, it'd be a good vehicle for a lot of people who don't do a lot of towing, but would like to pick up sheets of plywood or something equally large.
