A grieving Cardiff father whose daughter died trying to save her boyfriend from a blazing apartment block is spearheading a campaign for tighter fire safety responsibility. Julian Rosser has been battling to highlight what he claims are fatal flaws in fire safety legislation since daughter Sophie, 23, tragically lost her life in a London apartment blaze in August 2012 .

The U.S. Green Building Council announced the results of a study of job postings from across the United States, revealing that demand for the LEED Accredited Professional and LEED Green Associate credentials grew 46 percent over a 12-month period. "This figure tells a powerful story about the value that building-industry employers assign to knowledgeable, LEED-credentialed professionals," said Rick Fedrizzi, president, CEO and founding chair, USGBC.
