Old Winchester Resturant

IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE BACK IN THE DAY. I knew a waitress that once worked there.

I went to school with some of the Collis boys that Uncle John brought over from Greece. They worked part time in the restaurant and he treated them like they were his own children, educated them, clothed them and provided a home for them. All of them were brilliant and turned out to be Doctors, Lawyers, etc. I especially remember late on Saturday nights going there and getting a T-Bone steak, steak fries, a type of Greek cole slaw, bread and a drink for $1.25! Now the drink would cost that much! Those were the days!

it wasn't that far up it was down near where Graham's is now it was in between where Graham's is & where Newberrys was.
