It was destroyed by Irene and they have salvaged many parts of it and are looking to reconstruct a replica of the bridge.

They can try to rebuild it, but it won't be the same. If they do, they ought to make it passable by car.

It can be in pieces but it has to be at least 1/4 of the total constructed bridge/building etc.. Maybe they will make it passable but I am not sure.
