In the 40'sand early 50's were the hay days for old town Earl Loves and Logston's taverns plus many more, Guy Lambert's ferry boat HOPE, Ed Hise town marshall with bib overalls and the Calabose jail all on a hot summer nights saw fights in Earl Loves lasted longer than the Gulf War Great memorys of the old days in old town. Gone forever.
