hello my name is jason brown iam attending the scool of Isu and iam doing a project about teh hudson river and i was hoping if you could tell me how cold the water gets in winter

Cold enough for the Coast Guard to have an icebreaker stationed here... you could probably check with them and get some helpful statistics. Most people don't realize just how important the Hudson River shipping lane is for upstate communities.
