The only ones that will benefit are the developers that are getting government money for these projects and the landowner where the wind turbine is installed. I have heard anywhere from $22,000 to $60,000 annually. The biggest crime is that the energy produced doesn't even stay in our area and benefit us. What about the value of our homes, do you want to buy a house in the shadows of a wind turbine? What about appearance, drive up to Pigeon and get a first hand look. There are wind monitoring towers up right now on Bradleyville road south of M-81. They have plans for 125 units in and around Denmark Township. If you don't want to live in a forest of Wind Turbines now is the time to speak up. Contact the Denmark Township supervisor Don Petro, or board member Wayne Bierlein before it is too late, right now the plan is to go ahead it, and of coarse why not the board members are landowners and will benefit from this.
