Do yourself a huge favor turn around and do not look back. When you do give yourself a big pat on the back and then say fewww I just saved myself and my family from the biggest mistake I could've made. If you cherish your health you would not think twice about living here. I never hated anyone enough to refer them to live here. You will come across a lying, fake, greedy, manger who will lye right to your face just for a few bucks. She will have the painter paint over all the mold and not treat it. I would do your research and find out what buildings they own so yo do not have to rent from them. They keep changing there companies name. They go by either Desert Shadows properties, or Metropolitan properties based out of Seattle Washington. My apt was covered with black mold, and dog piss. They will never change the carpets. It takes a lot of damage for them to be able to replace the carpets. Past dog or cat urine?! Oh no thats not enough. Your lucky if you even get a apt. that is non toxic. I have had to sleep in my car several of times just so I can wake up refresh. Talk about a slumlord galore! This is a haven for them. There is only two maintenance men that take care of 8 buldings they own. I can run circles around them without any maintenance experience. After everything they had fixed I would go over it and fix it. Sometimes I would say to myself why did I even bother putting in a maintenance request knowing I could have done it myself. Everything they replace looks like it came out of a Tijuana junk yard. God forbid if you get anything new. They will replaced it with cheap products, or materials that would just fall apart. They also did not replace the old roof that is covered in black mold. They ended up putting the new roof over the old one. They have been through 6 mangers since I have lived there and most of them take off in a day or so. Just save yourself stress, and anxiety, and sleepless nights and rent somewhere else. I don't know how that owner, or there managment team sleeps at night. big ruleing that this owner will never be able to own anther property again. Good Luck I hope I could help with the knowledge I just shared. I am surprise I even rated these places 1 star.

Everything written about these apartments is true & worse. There are no "good" units. You will be promised everything "all new energy efficient" appliances, a clean quiet bldg but don't do it! You will be told of the wonderful friendly family like atmosphere & great tenant relationships & friendliness. The bldg is old, poorly. maintained & management non~existant when they are needed. This is a major intersection for ambulance & fire engines & police sirens & they are loud 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. The windows rattle inside the bedrooms when cars drive by & the dirt & dust from the street come right in around the windows. Cars park literally feet from your bedroom wall & the noise from cars starting, doors openning and closing, people talking, loud music playing while they fix there cars is unending. There's no consideration for each other. Hot water pipes heat the inside of the apartments that share a single hot water heater that goes out often yet the units are heated whether you like it or not, year round to 80 degrees & air conditioner must run all the time. Neighbors are noisy & complaints are ignorred. Young children run around the unfenced pool in the courtyard unsupervised and the noise echoes & is applified into the entry of your apartment from the central courtyard. You will be told the Jacuzzi works great, parts are ordered, the heat "just" went out on it. The amount of lies you will be told is hard to imagine because the woman who handles the rentals appears sweet & genuinely concerned & sincere, incapable of telling even a negative thing or half truth. There is nothing that can make living at the Continental Gardens worth it. A huge mistake you will live to regret as long as you live. Don't be tricked into living there.
