It was called the "sick" house. I think there were a lot of small pox patients kept there. Or maybe they suffered from scarlett fever.

I grew up in Knightstown. There is a lot of stories about this old house. Spooky stories.
I have never been inside it but a lot of kids my age went in there and came out scared.

My family grew up down the road..they always said it was haunted also..never went in myself..Only name I ever heard it called was the old pest house..

When we were teens we use to go to this place at one time when it was empty. It has paintings on all the walls in different rooms. we figured some artist was the last to like there. but yeah it was a spooky place, we would only go in the day time.
