Remeber how small the trees were when we were growing up. Going by the place were old Joe's Drive-In used to be, noticing the coal and slate up on the hill. Every one sitting in South Mullens, is sitting on an old coal mines. Behind Mrs. Crotty is two old mine openings, that have since been covered up, Flood Rd. there are two old mine openings that you can tell have been closed off. I have been places on my 4- Wheeler that I had seen when I was younger and thought they were ugly places to be, but now all the trees have gotten bigger and new growth has come back and these places will take your breath away. Now remember I left here when I was 19 and came back home 2 yrs ago.
