Remember when Del Webb built The King's Inn in conjunction with his opening Sun City, CA., back in 1962. Since there was nothing else (restaurants, etc.) in the area then, King's Inn was the gathering place in Sun City to meet-n'-greet and a great place to stay for those visiting Sun City. The restaurant here used to do a great chicken dinner; all thier food was very resonable here. After some of the buildings were destroyed by fire in the 1970's, what was left (two units and the office, I believe) was moved across I-215 (was old Hwy. 395 back then) on Encanto Dr.; today, it's Americas's Best Value Sun City Inn, but nothing like what The King's Inn was sadly.
