Beach at sunset

WOW! First thing I said when I saw it!

Beautiful!

We used to live 2 miles from this beach.We used to ride our bikes there and watch the sunset.

That, the people in general, the weather and of cours my age (59) is why I chose Florida. We have tolerated 3 hurricanes in a span of two weeks, several years ago. I am sure oyu remember. Each of them came our way. We survived, the sun came out and were still glad to be in Florida. They can rap on Florida all they want, however, I feel that it's because jealousy. Now don't get me wrong I love Louisville as well. But given the circumstances we still choose Florida. Louisville will always be my home I born and raised there. Pike County, namely a tiny town names Elkhorn City in the mountains of eastern KY will always be my second home in KY. Thats where my deceased father's family lives and has lived for generations. You were quite lucky we live about 5 miles as the seaguls fly so we have to drive. Only a ten minute drive and we don't mind at all. Take care.
