I recently designed this granite Honor Roll to serve as a companion piece to the statue I carved for Keeseville last year. It would commemorate the veterans on the existing Honor Roll and have space for future Keeseville Veterans.
There would be a walkway on both sides of the 12' panel to view the front and back of the list of Veterans.
Funding is necessary to see this become a reality.

What would be the cost of something like this? I love it, and what they have there now is awful. Our veterans deserve something like this!

it would be horrible if this was created as pictured, the village name is spelled wrong. it's keeseville with just one "s". otherwise it is a great idea and i think it would look spectacular.

tonwperson, you are the first person to catch that misspelling out of about a dozen I've shown this to, including townspeople. Thank you.
My photoshop program doesn't have a spell check feature. Imagine the editing process on 6 or 7 hundred names!
I met some of the veterans in Keeseville at the dedication last Veterans Day and I agree with "a native son", they deserve this kind of recognition.

no problem, i just imagine it would be very costly and time consuming to correct. kind of like the hollywood star that was made for julia louis-dreyfus where they spelled it luis and forgot the hyphen. i am sure you would get plenty of interest and donations from the keesevillians to move forward with your project. good luck.
