There is nowhere for a pedestrian here and defined:

Shoulder - A clear, level area beside the driving lane(s). It helps support the roadway, helps drain the pavement, provides room for bicyclists and, in areas without sidewalks, pedestrians, allows disabled to get out of the road; a hard shoulder is paved, a soft shoulder is unpaved.

After filing report Monday with PD I will see about how to get code enforcement to change speed limit or petition neighbors to give opinions on what they feel is safe.

I spoke to Sergeant Markulic of Howell PD Traffic Safety-
He said: "I will do what I can, this is not an easy task, We would need speed clocks out there, Has to be 85% speeding, We can Only reduce it by 5mph, We tried this on Bergerville Rd (which is a completely different Rd) and it didnt work."
I wrote emails with pics, this is a residential township rd- low income housing and developments tie into it. This Rd is used like an expressway for people going from Jackson to Freehold because Rt9 is out of reach, Police cannot safelly monitor this road and there is nowhere for them to pull people over. 90% of people drive this road over 50mph up to 65mph with bends, blind spots for pedestrians and no shoulder. My narrow escape from a head on was due to a vehicle in oncoming lane trying to avoid a pedestrian at over 45Mph. lucky just my mirror was ripped off at that speed.
Have 11 people on My road willing to sign a petition, Hope something can get done... as I email and get no further responses and feel that after Sergeant told Me He is the ONLY one in charge of 6000 sq ft town and compared it to another road, that possibly the investigation of safety wont even be done.
