This Parade will not happen down town again thanks to the Elizabethton City Manager Fred Edens. Thanks Mr. Edens you got your wish. Maybe next time they would have it on Feb 18 and use Confererate flags like you would like. You know the date the South declaired their declaration of independence in 1961.

South Declared independence in 1961? Missed that one! What is wrong with the Confederate Flag? Are you another one of the morons who think it is all about Slavery? So pathetic that people who live here in the south are so ignorant. Just a note: The good ole RED WHITE AND BLUE Flew over Slavery Longer than the Confederate Flag ever did.Edu cate yourself or shut the he11 up about the Confederate flag.
