This could be a nice street. Too bad it is a dumpy street. Many people drive down this street to get to HEB and it is amazing how trashy it is. Especially that one yard with all the junk in it. This is Elm street. Turn at Sonic to view these yards in person.

......Are you serious about the trees in the way of the school crossing sign? Both pics were taken from the sidewalk..I didn't know cars usually ride on the sidewalk.
I ride down El at times..looks pretty clean & green to me.

Thank you for pointing that out to me. All I'm saying is that to be given a citation for limbs hanging over the sidewalk impeding school kids' walk to school; (which were taken care of that day) when there are many right at the crosswalks not being cited is outrageous. I may have a small beef with the way Cove cites people but not with the home owners themselves. This is why I have tried to keep addresses from the photos. If the city was out looking for offenders they would see this also, not just someone who has flags of a rival college team.

Wait a second you really think the reason you got a citation is because of a college flag? Really? Give me a freaking break that may be the stupidest thing I have ever heard. You probably got a citation because some one complained about the limbs hitting their child in the face. People amaze me around this town.

Ooh...you were talking about low tree branches over the sidewalk.
Well there was all kinds of bushes & trees in the way of drivers when there's a 2-way stop..Especially when you're on most the number streets between Veterans & Highway...they been there since Spring. I'm not complaining about that..because all I have to do is creep my car out alittle bit more without going into the intersection........Just like someone can easily DUCK when there's low-laying branches.

Look...there's even low laying tree branches between a neighbors & my house that's not on either of our property.
So that would be Copperas Cove's tree = Copperas Cove's problem = Coppera's Cove has to pay to cut it...Which they haven't in 13 months.

I don't think the city of Copperas Cove has too many people giving out citations. I think they just go to a random area when they have time & take a took. And I guess they saw your tree & just wrote it up. If your tree is over grown then it is..there's no fighting it & there's shouldn't be any of this: "Well those guys have trees like mine, why didn't they give them a citation?"
