Ava General Store

Anyone remember this place? The photo is so old that there is no pavement yet on the road, and there are no gas pumps yet which would be almost in front of the porch steps on the left. Pre-automobile days?

Yep, my grandparents owned it after the Castles, and when they retired, an aunt and uncle took over it. It eventually became an antique store. Tore it down to widen the road, did they ever get around to that? Or was it all wasted for nothing?

My grandparents are the last to own it, I am looking to acquire the property soon. The property was torn down because the house became to close to the road after the town widened it, my Grandma had the plow trucks in the winter blowing all of the snow onto her porch and a few windows were broken because of it.
