Sky over Albany 7:30am 4/19/10

It's a disgrace that we allow this to happen in our skies. Anyone who thinks this is 'normal' just isn't thinking.

Looks like contrails from commercial airliners to me. Yes, airplane engines do create exhausts just as anything with an engine does. However, Contrails (short for "condensation trails") or vapor trails are basically artificial clouds that are the visible trails of condensed water vapor made by the exhaust of aircraft engines. As the hot exhaust gases cool in the surrounding air they may precipitate a cloud of microscopic water droplets. If the air is cold enough, this trail will comprise tiny ice crystals.[

excellent post, but some nutjobs will still believe in "conspiracys" These have been around since the first jet engine was introduced and used comercialy and militarily. Iguess whos laughing now never took the time to look up at Gods beautiful creation....the atmosphere...so...really whos laughing now?

And another thing that you are not pointing out is we are very close to a VOR Station, where most airplanes get their directions,and cross us

that is stupidity dust,they drop double doses on albany,their plan is working out perfectly.soon the gene pool will be shallow enough to eradicate ignorance.
