Lawrence O. Kitchen, former chairman and chief executive officer of Lockheed Corporation, died Dec. 15, 2013, at the age of 90. Over his 30-year career, Kitchen guided Lockheed-Georgia Company, and later Lockheed Corporation, through major crises to positions of strength and technological leadership.
