He is selfish and not a team player. Typical Jordan behavior.

He knew before he signed on the paper that the school was not a Nike School.

I know that school were not beating down his door to sign him but that is extremely selfish.

The school should have kicked him off the team.

Adidas is being a little sensitive on this. I guess Adidas had no clue that the son of their major competition was going to the school they endorsed. They didn't seem to have a problem with that. Yet, he wears a different pair of shoes and they pull the deal? Sorry, but that doesn't make good business sense at all. You throw away a multimillion dollar endorsement opportunity with a major university because one player wears a different shoe? Sounds to me like plans were already in the works to scrap Adidas. I also find it very hard to believe that Nike or the Jordan brand won't step in to endorse the school. Adidas didn't put in the work to keep the players happy obviously.
