Why are states in a budget crunch? Where is all the money collected disappearing to? Surely state officials salaries are not THAT inflated.

Schools are a big mess, they seem to have been cut faster than the dollar collapse, so its not leaking there.

Roads are ever getting more, probably too much. Because soon, with gas prices in runaway, there just may be a lot fewer cars and demand for public transportation, programs that haven't started.

Time for public audit, I think. Perhaps the prisons will have to make room for a lot of ex-public officials.
